The Mentoring Project The Mentoring Project (TMP) is an advocacy organization that serves as a liaison between faith communities and matching agencies to provide mentors for fatherless youth. Through dynamic church trainings, national mentor recruitment, and the creation of sustainable mentoring communities, The Mentoring Project seeks to rewrite the story of the fatherless generation.
In keeping with the mission, TMP establishes relationships with local and national faith communities, partner organizations, and matching agencies to facilitate the creation of sustainable mentoring communities. Our organization does not function as a matching agency. The Mentoring Project’s model assists faith communities in establishing sustainable mentoring communities that will provide mentors for the children waiting to be mentored that can be found through well-established matching agencies such as Big Brothers Big Sisters.
